Young people from Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria meet on a project
Young people from four countries gathered in the world-famous Sunny Beach resort in the Bulgarian Black Sea. They were under Erasmus+ project #2024-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000218623. Sport club Smile organized the exchange.
GOALS:
– to provide young people with an opportunity for integration and international exchange
-promoting mutual understanding between young people in different countries
– to enable participants to gain cross-skills and leadership attitudes through sport and informally
training
– promoting the engagement of youth in education or the labor market
– to stimulate the spirit of initiative, creativity, and entrepreneurship in youth
– to raise awareness of the ERASMUS+ program and to spread the core values of the EU among
youth
– promoting intercultural dialogue, getting to know and understanding European belonging;
– – strengthening European values and destroying prejudices and stereotypes;
– raising awareness of socially significant topics and thus stimulating engagement in
society.
Sport is also a framework for personal and social skills and learning skills, promoting tolerance, solidarity, inclusion, and other sporting and EU values. One of the goals of the new EU’s work plan for sports is to expand participation in sports and health-promoting physical activities to promote an active and environmentally friendly lifestyle, social cohesion, and active civic participation. This is one of our main goals – through sports, and especially among advanced games, to perform intensive inclusion. In the preparation of the games, in the competitions, and the debriefings after the sports sessions, all young people from different target groups par
ticipate and this is the fastest way to get closer.
Our organization – Usmivka Sports Club was pleased to welcome the youth of KK „Ratnitsi“ from Nis, Serbia, KK „Basket Kids Montenegro“, Basketball club Pro-basket from Kavadarci, North Macedonia.
